  • We are unable to transport any livestock.
  • We will ask you to help as much as possible. We understand that not everyone can lift heavy items, however we do ask that you or someone you trust supervises the van whilst unloading goods as we cannot be held liable for goods taken from the van whilst unloading.
  • If you have a family pet that is aggressive we ask that you ensure they are kept away from the delivery crew. This is both for our safety and your pet’s.
  • Every effort will be made to ensure that your goods are transported safely and securely. However due to the nature of the business sometimes slight damage may occur from moving through tight spaces. For example, a sofa moving through a small door frame may slightly catch the wall or surrounding obstacles, or mark the sofa. Any issues will be investigated and any which is inevitably the result of item movement will be viewed as wear and tear. Any major issues will be dealt with accordingly.
  • All large goods removals or collections will be moved from a ground floor location to a ground floor location, via an accessible path with no obstacles. The company’s insurance does not cover for moving items upstairs and although we treat every item with the care expected, any items moved upstairs will be uninsured and at your own risk, Please note, we are unable to remove any windows or doors and will have to leave the item is a safe place should a route be unavailable
  • If we are completing a partial house move, we ask that any fragile or high value item(s) are delivered by yourself where possible. When the van is loaded it can be hard to remember which boxes are fragile and which are heavy. By taking any valuable or fragile items you will reduce risk of damages. All items must be properly packed and items not in proper secure packing will not be covered by insurance. Box packing is done at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for badly packed items. All white goods should be empty before moving, we are also not insured to plug/plumb in any electrical or gas items.
  • Flat pack products, are not designed to be moved once assembled, if you wish for it to be moved in an assembled state, we cannot guarantee its structure whilst being moved and this must be taken into consideration, particularly for larger items such as wardrobes. We are unable to take carpets up, but will move any pre-rolled carpets.
  • We must be informed upon quoting your move of any obstacles or parking issues at both properties, also should the entry be dirty or un-kept we cannot accept any responsibility to carpets and floors from mud or dirt.
Staff will not tolerate any physical or verbal abuse. Any instances of abuse will be passed onto the police and will lead to your goods being ejected from the van. Any grievances should be taken up with Mark Sutcliffe.
  • After the work has been completed you will be issued with an invoice. This is to be paid by either cash or bank transfer upon final delivery. Any non-payment will be passed onto a collections agency within a week and a £20 surcharge will be added to your bill in addition to the collection agencies fees. The fee quoted is non negotiable after the price is agreed. Please do not ask for credit or discounts, as refusal may offend.
  • It is company policy that anyone lifting any items weighing more than 25 kilos must wear suitable steel toecap boots, and where possible use a trolley to reduce the risk of back injury. As you are not covered by our insurance to lift your own goods you do so at your own risk. We recommend you follow these guidelines and use suitable PPE.
